Sound baths & group sessions Β· Tampa + St. Petersburg, FL
A sound bath for the bachelorette β the plan nobody has to be good at.
Wavely brings a vetted sound bath practitioner to your bachelorette party anywhere in Tampa or St. Pete β your Airbnb living room, a hotel suite, or the beach at sunset. Everyone lies down, the crystal bowls and gongs do the work, and 60 minutes later your whole crew feels like they slept a full night. From $250 for up to 12 guests, mats and blankets included. Zero flexibility required.
Why sound baths are taking over bachelorette weekends
Every bachelorette itinerary has the same problem: one activity always excludes somebody. The boat excludes the seasick, the yoga excludes the stiff, the club night excludes the pregnant bridesmaid. A sound bath excludes no one β it's the rare group activity where "participating" means lying under a blanket with your eyes closed. It photographs beautifully (twelve mats in a circle, bowls glowing at golden hour), it costs less per person than a group dinner, and it's the one hour of the weekend everyone's nervous system will thank you for.
How a Wavely sound bath works
- Pick the moment. The three that work best: a sunset session on your first night to land the whole group in vacation mode, the recovery morning after the big night out, or the final morning as a send-off. Beach, rental, or suite.
- We match the practitioner. Sound bath practitioners on Wavely are vetted the same way as our yoga teachers β certification review, ID verification, and a background check β and they bring everything: bowls, gongs, chimes, mats, and blankets.
- Everyone lies down. Your practitioner sets up while the group settles in. A short guided breath, then 40+ minutes of sound. Phones off, one photo window at the end. You pay a ~50% deposit to book; the balance is only due once your session is confirmed.
Where Tampa Bay groups do sound baths
Why book it through Wavely
Sound bath practitioners are even harder to vet from an Instagram grid than yoga teachers β there's no certification badge in a bowl photo. Every practitioner on Wavely has passed a certification review, ID verification, and a background check before they can take bookings. Prices are flat and listed up front, your ~50% deposit holds the date, and it's fully refunded if your practitioner can't make it. Weather never eats your money: outdoor sessions move indoors or reschedule free.
Questions, answered
What is a sound bath, exactly?
You lie down on a mat, close your eyes, and a trained practitioner plays crystal singing bowls, gongs, and chimes around the room for 45β60 minutes. The vibrations do the work β there are no poses, no effort, and no experience needed. Most people describe it as the deepest rest they've had in years.
How much does a private sound bath cost in Tampa or St. Pete?
Private group sound baths start at $250 for up to 12 guests β a flat rate, not per person. A 90-minute yoga + sound bath combo starts around $320. Larger groups and special setups are quoted by email. You pay a ~50% deposit to hold the date and the balance once your practitioner confirms.
Do we need to be flexible or 'good at yoga'?
No. A sound bath involves zero physical effort β you lie still under a blanket. It's the one bachelorette wellness activity that literally every guest can do, including pregnant guests, injured guests, and the friend who refuses to exercise on vacation.
Is a sound bath good for the morning after a big night?
It might be the single best morning-after activity that exists. It's dark-ish, quiet, horizontal, and ends with everyone feeling like they slept eight extra hours. Book it for the recovery morning and thank us later.
Can we do it at our Airbnb or hotel?
Yes β that's the default. If your living room fits the mats, it fits a sound bath. Practitioners bring bowls, mats, and everything else to your vacation rental, hotel suite, or pool deck anywhere across Tampa, St. Petersburg, St. Pete Beach, and Clearwater.
Can we do a sound bath on the beach?
Yes, with one caveat: wind. Bowls sing best in still air, so beach sound baths are scheduled around calm windows β sunrise is most reliable, sunset is doable β and your practitioner picks a sheltered spot. If the forecast turns, it moves to your rental at no charge.
Can we combine yoga and a sound bath in one session?
That's the most-booked format: 45β60 minutes of gentle, all-levels flow, then everyone lies down and the bowls come out for the last 30 minutes. One booking, one practitioner (or a pair), one very happy group chat.
How far ahead should we book?
Two to four weeks ahead is comfortable β there are fewer sound bath practitioners than yoga teachers, so peak spring and fall weekends go first. Have a closer date? Email us and we'll check availability by hand.
