What a bachelorette yoga class actually costs

Updated July 2026 · 6 min read · Tampa Bay pricing

Short answer for the group chat: in Tampa Bay, a private bachelorette yoga session runs $220–$450 for the whole group depending on size and add-ons — under $20–$40 a head. Here's how the pricing models differ, what's included, and the fees to catch before you Venmo-split.

The two pricing models

ModelTypical priceWatch for
Flat group rate (Wavely's model)From $220 for up to 12 guestsSimplest split; confirm max headcount and session length
Per-person$28–$40+ per guest, often with a group minimumA 10-person crew at $38/head is $380 — minimums mean small groups pay for ghosts

Neither model is a scam — but flat-rate favors full crews (12 people at $220 is ~$18 each), while per-person favors tiny groups. National bachelorette platforms in Tampa list beach yoga around $250 flat or ~$38/person; solo instructors who do this locally tend to land ~$40/person. A flat "from $220 for up to 12" sits at the value end of the local market.

What should be included (make sure it is)

The fee traps

Sample math for the group chat

Crew sizeFlat $220 sessionPer-person at $38
6 guests$36.67 each$228 total ($38 each)
9 guests$24.44 each$342 total
12 guests$18.33 each$456 total

Rule of thumb: 8+ guests → flat rate wins, always. Under 6, compare both.

When to book and how to split

Book 2–4 weeks out for spring/fall weekends. One person books and pays the deposit (usually the MOH), then splits via Venmo immediately — collecting before the trip beats chasing after. The balance lands once the teacher confirms, so the full cost is known weeks before anyone flies.

Questions, answered

Is a private bachelorette yoga class worth it vs. a studio class?

For a group, almost always. A drop-in studio class costs $20–$28 per person anyway, requires transportation for twelve, and isn't private. A flat-rate private session at your rental costs about the same per head and the teacher comes to you.

How much should we tip a private yoga teacher?

Tips are never required. If the teacher made the weekend, groups commonly throw in $20–$50 total — but a five-star review and a tag in the group photo is just as valuable to them.

What's a fair deposit and refund policy?

A ~50% deposit holding the date is standard. It should refund in full if the teacher cancels, and weather should trigger a free move or reschedule — never a lost deposit.
